Illinois Cops Warn: Watch Out for the ‘Chicken Triangle’

I have been a lifelong supporter of law enforcement and funny things which is why I am extremely pleased with a new warning just issued by a police department in Illinois about the 'chicken triangle'.

Here's some irony for you. This hilarious "bulletin" just dropped on Facebook comes from the Normal, Illinois Police Department. If you live in or have been to Normal, Illinois, you know it's normal in name only and I mean that as a serious compliment, but that's a conversation for a different day. They certainly grabbed my attention immediately when they titled their status update "Welcome to the Chicken Triangle".

This is the approximate location of the Normal, Illinois "Chicken Triangle" where Chick-Fil-A and Raising Cane's currently are.

While this Normal, Illinois Police warning is purely tongue-in-cheek, they're not wrong about how busy that part of the city is. If you factor in someone being chicken-obsessed, driving could be dangerous in that triangular zone. Dave's Hot Chicken is apparently opening near this part of Normal soon so the potential trouble is only going to intensify. That's a nice problem to have if you love chicken, though. Kudos to the Normal Police for having a chicken-friendly sense of humor.
