First of all, yes there IS  a castle in the Bluegrass State.  Second, it's time to run amuck, amuck, amuck!

Kentucky's Very Own Castle

You can feel like Kentucky royalty when you visit The Kentucky Castle.  This castle looks like a scene plucked right out of a fairytale, or something you'd expect to see in another country.   However, this castle is located a short driving distance from the Tri-State as it's in Versailles, Kentucky.

The Kentucky Castle often hosts events like the Teatime with Princesses, Rooftop Yoga, and bourbon tastings.  You can also book The Kentucky Castle for your wedding, or just book a room and enjoy experiencing a castle for a night.  However, one event coming up sounds right up my alley! This event is just in time for Halloween, a Hocus Pocus-themed brunch!

Gather 'Round Sistahs!

Grab your mop, broom, or vacuum cleaner and fly on into Kentucky, because there's a spooky-themed brunch that sounds super fun.  The Kentucky Castle is hosting a Hocus Pocus brunch event!

The menu sounds delicious too, as it will be a buffet consisting of plenty of breakfast staples.

  • Personal-Sized Quiches -- vegetarian and meat
  • Parfait Station with yogurt, granola, berries, nuts & chocolate chips
  • Fruit Bowl
  • Waffles
  • Bacon
  • Sausage
  • Veggie Sausage
  • Chicken Salad Croissants
  • Garden Salad with Ranch & vinaigrette
  • Char-boo-terie Board

They had me at car-boo-terie.

The event will take place on two separate dates, Sunday, October 13th, and Sunday, October 20th.  There will be two times each date for this brunch experience 10:30 and 1:30.

Something to note, this is not a kid-friendly event and is for 21 and up only.  I assume that's due to the potions they'll be serving up, but that's just an assumption.

Oh look, another glorious morning – makes me SICK!

Enjoy a specialty brunch menu and a themed cocktail (or mocktail!) to get you in the spooky spirit with Winifred, Sarah, and Mary in our Greenhouse at The Kentucky Castle.

Bubble, bubble, we’re in trouble with the amount of Hocus Pocus fans out there. Costumes are encouraged for the occasion!

It’s not just a bunch of Hocus Pocus -- guests are welcome to take a stroll and explore inside the Castle and across the grounds following the brunch.

Goodbye, cruel world.
