Angel here and today marks 12 whole long and grueling years that my momma left this earth to go to her heavenly resting place.  I remember growing up I couldn't wait to be an adult so I could do things on my own.  Turns out the jokes on me and most days I wish there was a direct line to heaven so I could hear her voice and ask her advice...

One of our favorite past times as a family is to make the drive down Highway 56 out to Diamond Lake Resort and Campground and feed the fish. Angel here and I have been taking my older boys to do this for years and they still enjoy it as much as they did when they were little...

Pools are opening everywhere and as a momma of a child who nearly drowned in a family, pool water safety is at the top of my list for utmost importance especially when summer begins!

Last week Jason Aldean and Thomas Rhett's children took the toddler challenge and passed with flying colors. Angel decided to give Charlotte the challenge and recorded the whole thing. Let's just say #HILARIOUS #FAIL

Today my daughter Kathern would have celebrated her Sweet Sixteen. I'm sending her a birthday letter to heaven and wanted to share it with all of you.

Angel here and I have shared with you all some of my most personal stories in life. One of the most valuable lessons I have learned over the years is family is not always the group of people you are born into but those who have come alongside you in your journey and never left.

When we are brought into this world we don't get to choose who raises us, where we will live, or even the school we might go to. Those circumstances can affect our entire lives if we allow them too. Often we come to a crossroads in life where we have to decide how we handle what is coming at us.

Angel here. I have been jokingly and very seriously reminding everyone for weeks now that my 40th birthday is this Thursday. In the 39 years, I have spent on this earth I have had quite the journey. Lots of ups and downs, bumps and bruises, and plenty of valuable lessons.

Angel here. Today is National Disc Jockey Day and I am celebrating. I have been with WBKR for 3 and a half years now and the crap Chad, Barb, Brently and the rest of the crew have gotten me into made this job even more fun! So, I'm sharing some of my favorite moments.

Angel here. First, HAPPY THANKSGIVING and our family is praying you and yours have an amazing day. This morning I woke up early looked around my room as I lay there in complete silence and I began thanking God for the walls in my house.
