Color Blast 5K

Thousands of people turned out at Moreland Park in Owensboro Saturday morning for the 2014 Color Blast 5K.  And, after the race, we invited those 3,000 people to take part in a huge color-blasting after-party, where we rocked out the "Harlem Shake!"  Check this out!

Today is the day.  St. Patrick's Day marks the FINAL day of registration for Owensboro's Color Blast 5K, which is coming up Saturday morning at 8am at Moreland Park.  To get signed up for the race and to get a sneak preview of the route, keep reading!

Last year's Color Blast 5K was a huge record-setting success.  Over 4,000 runners and walkers joined us in downtown Owensboro in the biggest 5K in the history of Daviess County.  And, now, plans have been announced for the 2014 event and registration begins this Saturday!

There were so many highlights at Owensboro's first-ever Color Blast 5K, it was really hard to count them all.  We had the awesome impromptu Harlem Shake video in which 4,000 people threw packets of color up in the air.  We had glorious weather and a record-breaking crowd join us at English Park for the biggest 5K in the history of Owensboro-Daviess County.  We raised tons of money for six differen
