Diamond Lake Campground and Resort

New Beginnings and Diamond Lake Campground Resort are teaming up for an exciting 5K event.  It's the Diamond Dash 5K Moonlight Trail Run and it's coming up Saturday, May 21st.  Registrations are underway now, but the deadline to guarantee an official Diamond Dash t-shirt in your size is coming up May 6th.  Here's how you can enter to run in this unique, fun and thirst-quenching event!

The Mud Run returns to Diamond Lake Campground and Resort.  And, after a one-year hiatus, the American Cancer Society is inviting you to be a part of the most grueling and challenging 5K in the tri-state.  Earlier this week, Brett and I suited up and gave some of the obstacles a test drive.  Here's what you can expect!

They came.  They sang.  And they conquered!  The Josh Merritt Band of Owensboro have been crowned the champions of the 2014 Battle for the Big O presented by Henderson Chevy Buick GMC!  And here's the big crowning moment caught on video!

Relay For Life Daviess County is getting a huge makeover this year.  The event, which is set for Friday, May 16th is moving from Diamond Lake Campground and Resort, for the first time in four years.  This year's event will take place at College View Middle School and organizers are hard at work to revamp Relay and they're encouraging you to form a team and join us at this important all-nighter!  C

WBKR's The Six Pack returns to Diamond Lake Friday, September 20th and we have a terrific show planned.  One group that will be along for the ride . . . Boys of Broad from Central City!  They recently competed in the Battle for The Big O finale and we just knew we had to ask them back to Diamond Lake.  Check 'em out!

If you like then you should put a ring on it!  LOL!  The final Lanham Brothers Jamboree of the season is coming up Saturday night at Diamond Lake's Good Time Theatre and Jaclyn and I are thrilled we've been asked to headline the season finale.  And we plan to pull out ALL the stops.  In fact, I have rounded up the help of Kendal Connor and Lauren Watts and we are re-creating the entire video for B

With this year's amazing crop of talent in WBKR's Battle for The Big O talent competition there was just one wild card spot open for the finals.  And that spot was taken, quickly and easily, by The Kyle Whitaker Band from Butler County, Kentucky.  Check out the performance that earned them a shot at $1,000 and the right to open the 2013 Big O Music Fest.  This is an original song called "Amer

Friday night's auditions at Hawg N Sauce in Mount Vernon, Indiana were amazing!  We passed an astounding FIVE acts through to the Battle for The Big O finale coming up Saturday, August 24th.  One of them . . . Blackford Creek, who took the stage and sang "Copperhead Road."  This is flippin' awesome.  WATCH!

Magnet, Indiana is home to the magnetic Jacob Lawalin.  And Saturday, he took the stage at WBKR's Battle for The Big O finale and our judges loved him.  Jacob finished 4th out of 16 Battle hopefuls and earned his spot in our Battle finale coming up August 24th.  And he did it with this performance of Thomas Rhett's "Something to Do with My Hands."  Check it out!
