Way back in 2012, a six-year-old little boy from Whitesville brought in all the money he raised for the kids to the WBKR St. Jude Radiothon, and ever since, Gavin Howard and his family have become a part of our St. Jude family.

The Penny War out at Whitesville Trinity High School and St. Mary of the Woods School is complete and the kids have revealed their donation. Wow!

We've know that Knottsville's Gavin Howard is a very special kid for several years, but now he's gotten some national attention. Gavin was nominated for a scholarship from Kohl's from Mike Mudd and guess what? They agree with us as to how special Gavin is!

Last year, during the WBKR St. Jude Radiothon, Gavin Howard, of Knottsville, Kentucky, made a whopping presentation to our tote board.  He brought in an envelope containing $12,000!  He made that money selling t-shirts he designed.  This year, Gavin has been at it again.  And, this year, he has a brand new design.
