Surely by now you have seen an episode or have at least heard of "Honey Boo Boo." For those who haven't: it is a reality television program on TLC that features beauty pageant participant Alana Thompson (Honey Boo Boo), along with her mother June Shannon, father Mike Thompson and her three older sisters...

There are those who'd say I shouldn't be writing this unless I watch a whole episode of TLC's "Here Comes Honey Boo Boo." To them, I say, "My parents raised no masochists."
