The 2011 Susan G. Komen Bowl for the Cure was held in Owensboro Thursday, August 4th and Friday, August 5th and, for the 3rd year in a row, WBKR was the presenting media sponsor for the event.  And, for the 3rd year in a row, the station sent teams to bowlers to Diamond Lanes South in the hopes 92.5 would be well represented in the land of strikes and spares.  Well, it didn't turn out that way!  Y
