Big congratulations out to Maxwell Daley of Grayson County, Kentucky!  The 12-year-old  just won the Largest Pumpkin Contest at the Kentucky State Fair.  You won't believe how much his pumpkin weighed!

Last Thursday, I continued one of my favorite annual WBKR traditions!  I headed up to Louisville to broadcast live, all day, from opening day at the Kentucky State Fair!  This year, I was able to do things I have never done at the fair before and it was all caught on camera...

As you guys know, The Kentucky State Fair has an amazing line-up of entertainment scheduled for this year's event!  The shows inside Freedom Hall feature Lady Antebellum, Jason Aldean, Def Leppard with Heart, and Train and Maroon 5!  And now, the folks at the fair have announced the line-up of FREE concerts at Cardinal Stadium!  And, like usual, that line-up is COUNTRY STRONG!

Jason Aldean fans!  This one's for you!  Mr. Dirt Road Anthem is coming to the Kentucky State Fair on Saturday, August 20th and tickets go on sale Monday morning (April 18th) at 9am CST!  And, if you get tickets, you won't just be seeing Jason!  You'll see Chris Young and Thompson Square too!
