Legion Park

For the first time ever in Kentucky, we have our own Street Soccer Court at Legion Park in Owensboro! Soccer fans in the tri-state are going to love it.

Over the past few years Legion Park has had a major face lift from the brand new playground to the new fitness equipment.  The City is now adding a new street soccer court.

When I worked for the Owensboro Parks & Recreation Department I learned quite a lot about the local city parks.  I was surprised to find out Legion Park used to house animals!

I drive by beautiful Legion Park in Owensboro every morning on my way to work and what I've seen lately has been bothering me. I think it will bother you too.

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas . . . especially at Legion Park in Owensboro, where an annual holiday tradition is about to get underway!
