One of the coolest moments of the 2014 Liquid Ninja Big O Music Fest Saturday night happened just before the Charlie Daniels Band took the stage.  The festival paid tribute to tristate men and women serving in the Armed Forces.  Check this out!

I never get tired of these videos. A soldier returns home and surprises a loved-one and it's all captured on film. They always warm my heart and cause the tears to roll. I just happened to catch one this morning and it was actually in my hometown of Mayfield.

Sunday was quite a momentous 24 hours for the NFL. The Green Bay Packers lost their first game of the season. The Indianapolis Colts WON their first game of the season. But those results pale in comparison to what happened in Houston during the Texans' loss to the Carolina Panthers.
