After the Big Game, Kelly Clarkson told her Facebook friends that she had never been so nervous in her life.  But you couldn't tell it.  Just before Super Bowl XLVI, Clarkson walked onto the field at Lucas Oil Stadium and just slayed the National Anthem.  If you missed it or just want to hear and see it again, here you go!

Ya'll know that Kelly Clarkson is my woman.  And my woman is singing the National Anthem at Super Bowl XLVI.  That's all kinds of good news.  First of all, we finally have a singer who won't pull another Christina Aguilera moment and botch the words.  And secondly, we have recruited a singer who can actually SING that song.  In fact, Kelly is a PROFESSIONAL anthem singer!  This won't be her first

As we say in the south, "Bless her heart"... young Lauren Alaina, on the biggest stage of the Thanksgiving Day, opening the Green Bay game... forgets the words to our National Anthem.  Thankfully she will have years to get over it. Can't blame it as a "senior" moment -- except as a senior in high school...
