Opryland

Opryland USA was home to an incredible indoor roller coaster called Chaos. Well, Chaos had a sister coaster- the Revolution- in Belgium. It is still in operation.

I look up and it's been 30 years since I visited Opryland for the last time. Nashville STILL isn't the same without it, says me.

As I have shared before, I was a huge fan of Opryland.  I grew up going to that theme park and spent endless hours and days on rides like The Grizzly River Rampage, The Screamin' Delta Demon, the Wabash Cannonball and more.  Opryland was THE best and was a popular destination for families and country music fans for two decades.  Then, suddenly, it closed, was torn down and turned into a giant mall

Each summer Gaylord Opryland Resort plans a different summer theme for its' guests to enjoy when they come to stay.  This year Summerfest is Alice In Wonderland themed!

Oh my goodness!  This video brings back a ton of childhood memories. I'm not sure why, but I have been thinking about (and missing) Opryland a bunch.  I was feeling nostalgic last week and even spent Mother's Day at my mom's house going through old photos to see if I could find some old pics from the park.  I know there is a photo of me somewhere and, in it, I'm standing with Opryland's musical mascots- Johnny Guitar, Delilah Dulcimer and Yancy Banjo.  I absolutely
