RuPaul's Drag Race

Shangela, Eureka and Bob the Drag Queen, the stars of We're Here on HBO Max, recently filmed an episode in Evansville, IN. That show airs this week.

She's not sashaying away. Instead, Scarlet Envy, who recently competed on RuPaul's Drag Race, is coming to Owensboro for a special appearance at Alter Ego's downtown.

Just one week after Owensboro drag queen Monica Beverly Hillz became the first contestant to come out as transgender during the competition, sadly, she was eliminated on this week's RuPaul's Drag Race.

Apparently, January 2013 is the month that Owensboro gets national television exposure.  Just last week, John Foreman of Old Hickory and Roy Henry of Boogalou BBQ battled it out for bragging rights on TLC's BBQ Pitmasters.  And now, another Owensboro resident is going to battle for bragging rights in a competition with a . . . how do we put it . . .  completely different flavor.  Yep!  Monica Beve

Jon Brennan brought Owensboro national exposure when he was cast on MTV's The Real World.  Teresa Cook, a.k.a.
