In January I was given the great honor of visiting St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. On the tour, we visited several areas of the hospital. Two particular areas stood out to me the most.
When I traveled to St. Jude in January I knew emotions would be high and tears would flow. However, I never imagined how closely I would identify with one particular Mother and daughter I met.

Saturday our family made the drive down HWY 431 to Livermore City Hall for the very first Cuties For A Cure Benefit Pageant where our sweet Charlotte competed. What a fun time!

While Chad and I were in St. Jude one of the big highlights was the Song Writer's Reception. Darius Rucker was honored by Alabama's Randy Owen for his work with St. Jude.
This week we are preparing to head to Memphis to visit St. Jude Children's Hospital. While I know I will be extremely blessed and educated on these precious children and their families, I can't help but have a very heavy heart about leaving my own family (Charlotte in particular).
