Union, KY native and now Hollywood heartthrob Josh Hutcherson paid a visit to his home state over the weekend and he just happened to attend Rupp Arena to see the rivalry of all rivalries, Kentucky vs. Louisville.
On occasion, Jaclyn and I have discussed the fact that neither of us are heavy readers. In fact, outside of her monthly magazine fixes--Cosmopolitan and Parenting--and her nightly reading of Llama Llama Mad at Mama with her daughter, Carsyn, Jaclyn doesn't "hit the books" very much, if at all. Same here.
I enjoy a good book. But I don't read a lot. Doesn't make sense, does it? Well, I have to clear out my head completely to get into a book. No distractions of any kind. And if the book grabs me immediately, then that problem is taken care of. Great example: Stephen King's "The Stand." It's the best book ever. Good example: Suzanne Collins' "The Hunger Games." It's apparent Taylor Swift is going in a bold new direction with her contributions to the upcoming The Hunger Games: Songs from District 12 and Beyond soundtrack. If you heard her collaboration with The Civil Wars, "Safe and Sound" and though, eh, maybe a little too weird, then I think "Eyes Open" will improve your attitude.
