Exciting news for the folks who participated in WBKR's 'The Run for Your Life' Zombie Run during Pumpkinfest!  Zombie t-shirts are READY for pick-up.  If you were a ZOMBIE in the race or you registered as a runner after entries were closed online, your shirts are NOW available at the WBKR studios at 3301 Frederica Street...

One, two.   They're coming for you!!!  WBKR's brand new zombie run, "The Run for Your Life," is just one week away and it's time to get signed up for Owensboro's newest, scariest 5K event.  Here's how you do it . . .

You asked!  You shall receive.  Okay, so it seems there is strength in numbers.  Especially when you're being chased through the streets of Owensboro by ZOMBIES!!   And, we get it.  It actually would be pretty scary taking WBKR's Zombie Run by yourself.  So, we're encouraging you to round up ten of your friends and tackle the course as a GROUP!   Mark your calendars for 10pm, Friday, September 21s

WBKR is proud to announce that we have taken over Owensboro's annual Pumpkinfest.  And it's coming to the Owensboro Sportscenter and Moreland Park on Friday, Sept 21st and Saturday, Sept 22nd.  To find out what The Country Station has in store for you, KEEP READING!  This event is going to be an incredible start to the Halloween season with activities for kids AND adults!
