Why go trick-or-treating one day a year, when you can do it every weekend in October here in southern Indiana?

Three years ago, I published a post about which candy every state in the US prefers and Kentucky's choice just never sat quite right with me which is why we are taking a fresh look at what purportedly is on this year's list.

Imagine opening your kids' Halloween bags and finding a side dish.

Here's an updated list of Trick or Treat options in Owensboro-Daviess County.

Weather is putting quite a damper on Halloween plans for many towns. We got word this morning that many would be moving trick or treating. At the time Owensboro-Daviess County was not on that list.

I asked this question last year because a town in Nova Scotia decided to ban kids over 16 from partaking in treats, but this year, one town in Virginia is taking it up a notch or in other words, hold my beer.

I bet you the last time I went door to door for candy, on Halloween, it was in the 80's. By the time I reached I reached middle school, and even though my sister was six years younger than me, I gave up the ghost on trick or treating.

Our "Trick or Treating" contest for Holiday World tickets is officially underway this morning.  And, each day, Dave Spencer, Jaclyn Graves, Taunya and I will be sharing with you our "TREAT" of the day!  And, we'll each have a different one...
