Believe it or not, the NCAA has released an early bracket of this year's Men's Basketball Tournament. Why? I think it's to help folks like me when filling out brackets and it gives the public a look at the "teams to watch" a month from now.
After yesterday's UK/UL game it seems like basketball is on everyone's mind. Well, if you're a hoops fan, you have to check this out. It's video of the Top 10 NBA Dunks of 2013 and they are RIDICULOUS!!
Half of the NCAA Tournament's Sweet 16 is set. And the Bluegrass State will claim one-eighth of it. Kentucky and Louisville both won on Saturday evening and will head to the regionals, marking the first time in seven years the 'Cats and the Cards have made a joint appearance in the Round of 16.
For big college basketball fans like myself, the May-September offseason is the equivalent of Interstate 40 between Nashville and Memphis--it never seems to end. Thank God that in the doldrums of June, University of Kentucky head coach John Calipari and University of Louisville head coach Rick Pitino have seen fit to fire shots--albeit subtle ones--across each other's bows.
