Faith Hill announced last month that her intro duties for Sunday Night Football would be ending after six seasons. As a big football fan, I've grown accustom to watching Faith kick off every Sunday night game. And, to be honest, I sing along with her and get up and dance too! So, for me to think of anyone else but Faith performing "Waiting All Day For Sunday Night', I get a little concerned. But, they've recently announced who her replacement is, have you heard?!? SHE is a fellow country music superstar AND has equally hot legs! Any guesses??

Via Twitter Monday morning, Faith Hill announced her split from her Sunday Night Football. For the last six years, Faith has opened the weekly football series on CBS. I personally LOVED this open and will miss her and those gorgeous legs, ha!

Today, the performance of the National Anthem at the Super Bowl is just as big a media spectacle as the half-time show and the game itself. Huge stars are asked to deliver rousing renditions of "The Star-Spangled Banner" as the whole world watches to see if they mess up the words, lip-synch or perform live. In the last few years, we have seen amazing renditions by Kelly Clarkson, The Dixie Chicks, Carrie Underwood, Faith Hill and Jennifer Hudson. Way back in 1993, even Garth Brooks stepped up and swung for the fences. But, historically, there have been some STRANGE choices and some really bizarre renditions at The Big Game. WATCH!

Today Dave Spencer and I held our weekly music to listen to new tunes, review the fading ones and where they should go in the WBKR rotation, and to judge the quality and placement of our current crop. When we finished we realized we needed one more song. Rodney Atkins has a new one we considered. Also, Chris Cagle. Then, I remembered I saw an ad this morning for a new Faith Hill. So, Dave went to find the tune and sure enough we liked it so much we put it right on. And, it has been years since I heard a Faith Hill song I liked out of the chute. I think, AMERICAN HEART, is her best since 1999.

I saw Stewart Whitaker's article about the new commercial for NBC Football and, of course, went to watch. Wow. She is so thin. I really think she looks like Celine Dion in the video. See what you think. The song is called, 'Waiting All Day for Sunday Night' . It kicked off the game between the Denver Broncos and Pittsburgh Steelers this past Sunday.

Hope you got a chance to watch the CMA Awards Show last night, there was some great performaces and not so great performaces, I won't name names but overall I thought it was a pretty good show. I think Carrie Underwood & Brad Paisley do a great job at hosting, their opening monologue was very funny featuring Hank Williams Jr. and the Faith & Tim Barbies.

Last night on the 45th annual CMA Awards, Faith Hill gave her first performance on the show in five years and, in doing so, she unveiled to country fans her brand new single, "Come Home." Only, after some digging, we have discovered that it's not really a new single at all. The song was originally written and performed by the pop/rock group One Republic, the band responsible for big chart-toppers like "Apologize" and "Good Life." Take a listen to "Come Home" the way THEY did it!
