1 week from today it's the 45th Annual CMA Awards Show live from Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, TN Wednesday, November 9th 7p -10p Central Time. "Footloose" was a smash hit back in 1984 for Kenny Loggins and the re-make by Blake Shelton is racing up the charts. Kenny Loggins will join Blake for the opening song of the CMA Awards Show next Wednesday night!

Yesterday I posted about your favorite T.V. or cartoon theme and got great reponse, today let's see what your Big Screen theme song is, this is a tough one. I'd have to say for me, since it's my favorite movie "Titanic", Celine Dion "My heart will go on" I even like some instrumental themes from movies like "Fletch" with Chevy Chase, "Beverly Hills Cop" with Eddie Murphy, how about "Caddyshack", "Back to the Future" and more! Thank goodness right? This is my third post about the new Footloose (in theaters October 14th) and today, the soundtrack listing and who will indeed sing the iconic Kenny Loggins title track has been revealed.

October 14th is the day after my birthday and it's also the day the remake of Footloose (this link also features an interview with the new Ren McCormick, Kenny Worland) will hit theaters. If you watch closely, you'll see a lot of familiar nuances from the original; I swear I think they may or may not have used the same script; only it's been punched up to the 21st century and Kevin Bacon's wardrobe may have been raided.
