Movie fans are getting their first look this weekend at dancer/singer/actress Julianne Hough in the remake of one of the biggest hits from the 80s, Footloose.  Hough takes on the role of the preacher's daughter, Ariel, orginally played by Lori Singer.  Fans of Kevin Bacon's Ren McCormick will probably be scratching their heads as an unknown dancer, Kenny Worland, takes Bacon's iconic leading role.  Also starring as Ariel's parents are Dennis Quaid and Andie MacDowell.  Footloose is being produced by the team behind the Oscar-winning Chicago, Craig Zadan and Neil Meron.  Here's another fact that will make fans feel old, Worland was born in 1984, the year the original came out.  Footloose will hit theaters on October 14th.
