Chad and I were chatting with Matthew Thompson this morning and Matthew is a huge Aaron Lewis fan. Matthew wanted to hear "Endless Summer" by Aaron. I told him, well it's ending this week! As as summer 2012 comes to an end, Little Big Town continues to hold down the No. 1 position on the country singles chart with their smash, 'Pontoon', which some have called summer 2012's official song.

Fans of all music genres will fill the seats of Freedom Hall during the Kentucky State Fair Main Stage concert series. Three of the four Main Stage Concert Series acts will feature performances by country legend Hank Williams Jr, rock group Journey and popular country band Rascal Flatts.
The 2012 fair will run from Aug. 16-26 at the Kentucky Exposition Center and Main Stage Concert tickets will go on sale at the Freedom Hall Ticket Office, all Ticketmaster outlets, by phone at (800) 745-3000 and online.

Little Big Town has done it again! Earlier this year, in their "Scattered, Smothered and Covered" web series, they covered Lady Gaga's "Born This Way" and gave it an amazing country/bluegrass twist. It was so well-received on the web, the foursome added it to their concert set list. In fact, when they performed at Roberts Stadium earlier this year they just knocked some Lady Gaga out of the park! And, now . . . they've set their sights on another HUGE pop hit! International country music super duo SUGARLAND continues their highly-successful THE INCREDIBLE MACHINE TOUR and it's coming to Roberts Stadium in Evansville, Thursday, May 5th! As you know, WBKR loaded up listeners and carted them off to the Kentucky State Fair last year and we got to see the first leg of the Sugarland tour. And it was amazing!!
