Fans of all music genres will fill the seats of Freedom Hall during the Kentucky State Fair Main Stage concert series. Three of the four Main Stage Concert Series acts will feature performances by country legend Hank Williams Jr, rock group Journey and popular country band Rascal Flatts.
The 2012 fair will run from Aug. 16-26 at the Kentucky Exposition Center and Main Stage Concert tickets will go on sale at the Freedom Hall Ticket Office, all Ticketmaster outlets, by phone at (800) 745-3000 and online.

Dubbed “The American Band Tour,” Rascal Flatts will headline an all band set-up on Saturday, Aug. 18 with Little Big Town, Eli Young Band and Edens Edge opening. Rascal Flatts will be on tour in support of their forthcoming release, Changed. The band’s eighth studio effort is scheduled to hit stores on April 3 through Big Machine Records. CMT.com said that the band "delivers an electric show full of special effects, big hits and a renewed sense of purpose…it's a testament to their talent that the band can keep the momentum going."

Little Big Town continues to tour in support of their most recent release, 2010′s “The Reason Why.” Eli Young Band will be promoting 2011′s “Life at Best,” while Edens Edge continues to tour behind their 2011 self-titled debut album. Ticketing information will be released at a later date.
