2nd Annual “Chef Throw-Down” Challenge Fundraiser this Weekend
Owensboro's premier Culinary Showdown and Fundraiser happens this weekend and we have the Menu! You can be the judge and support some amazing causes.
The ultimate fine dining cook-off is taking place this Saturday to benefit great causes at the Campbell Club in Owensboro!
Doors open at 6:00. Serving begins at 6:30

Both programs work daily to house, educate, and give purpose back to those struggling and affected by homelessness and poverty in our community.
Four local chefs, and one sous chef, are set to compete in a head-to-head cooking contest to raise awareness, and benefit the homeless in our community.

Here’s the Delicious Menu:
Grilled lamb chops crusted with guajillo chili, cumin, and coriander.
Served over local succotash with grilled corn, purple hull peas, roasted peppers, onions, tomatoes, and fresh basil. Garnished with a smoked paprika vinaigrette and micro cilantro.
Slow smoked brisket with a non-traditional BBQ sauce, and a deconstructed Mexican street corn.
The sauce is made of all organic spices, paprika cumin oregano and coriander.
Open Face Lobster “Roll”
Chunks of butter poached lobster lightly dressed with house made organic, free-range double egg mayonnaise,
served on a pan fried crouton with a saffron-vanilla cream sauce, frizzled leeks and celery foam
Vegetable Biryani:
a traditional South Asian baked mixed rice dish--long grained basmati rice, flavored with saffron, layered with vegetables that are cooked together with sautéed onions, ginger/garlic, cardamom, and peppers.
Aloo Ka Bharta: delicious North Indian styled mashed potatoes made with cumin, peppers
Also serving Triple Ginger Biscotti with a serving of Vin Santo for dipping or sipping.
