Apollo Boys Team Plays Thursday Night in KHSAA Sweet Sixteen

The Apollo High School boys' basketball team is in the Kentucky High School Athletic Association's Sweet 16 and the game is tonight.

Apollo (16-15) will take on Covington Catholic (31-4) at 7PM Central in the tournament's first round at Rupp Arena.

The Eagles will look to make it two championships in a row for Owensboro schools as OHS won it all last year.

Apollo last made the tournament finals in 2006 when they lost 61-48 to Jeffersontown.
