It was a fine turnout yesterday at Golfland USA as Hospice of Western Kentucky kicked off its Heartford House building campaign with project chairman, Owensboro native, and NASCAR Hall of Famer, Darrell Waltrip.

As soon as Waltrip's vehicle pulled up, fans swarmed to get autographs, shake his hand, and just chat with one of Owensboro's favorite sons.

It is, of course, tremendous to see a celebrity of DW's stature giving back to his community and really enjoying everyone who had come out to Golfland to have a great time and support a great cause.
