Daviess County High School Hosting a Fun Valentine’s Dance Clinic in Owensboro
The Daviess County High School Pantherettes know a thing or two about dance. In fact, they know a thing or two about winning national dance titles. In the last few years, the Pantherettes have traveled to Orlando where they have claimed national titles in Hip Hop and Game Day divisions. With a 2019 Hip Hop title and 2020 and 2021 Game Day championship titles, they have established themselves as one of the premier high school dance teams in the U.S. And, now, they're inviting your tiny dancers to join them!
If you have an aspiring young dancer between the ages of 4 to 8th grade, the DCHS Dance Team is inviting them to a fun dance clinic on Sunday, February 13th- the day before Valentine's Day. Valentine's Day, by the way, happens to coincide with game day and that provides a fun opportunity for dancers in the clinic.
That clinic runs from 1pm to 4pm in the Daviess County High School gym. And, there, aspiring dancers will be working with the Pantherettes and learning a dance they'll get to perform in public! The students at the dance clinic will get to join the Pantherettes in a special performance the following night at the DCHS- Whitesville Trinity basketball game.
The cost of the clinic is $35 per dancer. That fee includes: t-shirt, snack, dancer admission and one adult paid admission to the performance game on February 14th. While day-of registration is acceptable (sign in begins at 12:30pm the 13th), the preregistration deadline to guarantee a shirt is Sunday, January 30th.
To register, you'll need to complete this form and follow the instructions for payment.
