Daviess County Sheriff’s Department Investigating 6-Year-Old Case

It's been nearly six years since Dr. Lacy Brinton was killed in an accident on the Natcher Parkway.  The investigation into that crash continues.

From Daviess County Sheriff Keith Cain:

As we approach the 6th anniversary of the fatality collision that took the life of Dr. Lacy Brinton, we are requesting the public’s assistance as we continue to investigate this collision. On 02-21-13 at 5:48pm, Dr Brinton was traveling southbound on the Natcher Pky near the 65 mile marker when her vehicle lost control on soybean meal that had been spilled on the roadway. All leads & tips have been investigated but as of today we have not been able to identify the truck or driver involved in the spilling of the soybean meal. We would like to be able to help bring some closure to the Brinton family. We believe that the driver or someone in a company may know information that could help us in this case.
