Dragonboat Festival Lineup Announced

Here's a letter from Kirk Kirkpatrick, chairman of this year's Dragonboat Festival to be held in Owensboro in August.

"Whoooooooooooooooa!

Our goal was to get ten or maybe twelve teams if possible to participate.  However, because of everyone’s effort we had to cut off the registration for teams at fourteen!  We’ve actually had to turn some others away.

This is an extraordinary number for our inaugural event.  I want to remind you that Evansville’s first festival and race included four teams.
