Golden Alert Issued for Missing Owensboro Man [Photo]

Overnight, the Owensboro Police Department issued a Golden Alert for a missing Owensboro man who suffers from dementia and diabetes.  Good news this morning, according to OPD, he has been located and is safe!

According to officials from OPD, officers responded to the 900 block of Pennbrooke Avenue on a missing person’s report.  58-year-old Richard Noffsinger reportedly left the residence on foot.  Mr. Noffsinger suffers from dementia and is diabetic without his needed medication.

Consequently, a Golden Alert was issued and detectives along, with the Emergency Management Agency, searched for him overnight.  As of this morning, he was located and has been reunited with his family.
