From Campus Leader To Pageant Contender, Meet Hannah Rager
A Muhlenberg County High School graduate wants to be the next Miss America and, later this month, Hannah Rager will take the next step in making that happen. She'll compete in Miss Kentucky 2025.
THE 2025 MISS KENTUCKY PAGEANT
The Miss Kentucky Pageant will take place from June 11th through June 14th at SkyPAC in Bowling Green. There, contestants from all over the state will gather together and compete for the crown and the right to represent the Bluegrass State at the Miss America Pageant.
Hannah is one of those contestants with her eyes on that prize. She was recently crowned Miss University of Louisville. That win earned her a spot in the Miss Kentucky Pageant and, next week, she'll head back down to the western part of the Commonwealth to compete.
Hannah is currently a junior at the University of Louisville. She's a double major pursuing degrees in marketing and sports administration. The Bremen, Kentucky native is making a big impact 'both on and off campus.' On campus, Hannah serves as Vice President of Kappa Delta. She is also Vice President of The Ville’ns (UofL’s official student section), and is a dedicated member of raiseRED. With that particular affiliation, she has worked to personally raise over $2,000 for pediatric cancer research.
Off campus, she is currently serving as a Kentucky Derby Princess and has attended over 70 Derby and festival events. She also recently represented her university at the Kentucky Mountain Laurel Festival.
SHATTER THE SILENCE: OPI-END IT
Hannah is also the founder of "Shatter the Silence: Opi-End It", an invaluable community service initiative focused on addiction awareness and ending the stigma associated with it. She's also been involved, for the last six years and counting, with Champions for a Drug-Free Muhlenberg County. She was recently a featured speaker at the Hidden in Plain Sight conference. Hannah's passion for fighting addiction was sparked by the loss of her cousin to an opioid overdose.

With her eyes firmly on the title of Miss Kentucky, Hannah may inspire a new generation of Kentuckians.
