A Festive and Delicious Sneak Preview of the 2022 Holiday Market in Owensboro, KY

The annual Holiday Market is coming up this weekend at the Owensboro Regional Farmers' Market.

The holiday extravaganza, which features dozens and dozens of vendors was first held at the end of 2020 and it has continued to grow since.

The excitement is building as this year's Holiday Market will feature over 70 booths and vendors. Some are staples of the weekly market. Others are on hand just to spread some holiday cheer.

Earlier this week, the market shared this on Facebook:

We’re only a few days away from our big Holiday Market! Join us this Saturday for our extended Market hours from 8am-2pm to shop from 75+ craft and artisan vendors along with our local Market vendors! This market will have everything from local food to crafts, holiday gifts, fresh produce, and so much more, plus a holiday themed photo spot!

And the Owensboro Regional Farmers' Market isn't kidding around when they mention "holiday gifts". Take a look at these, for example.

Merritt Bates-Thomas, who runs the fabulous concession stand (which will feature coffee, warm and cold apple cider, hot chocolate and the market's famous lemonade), says the Holiday Market will have everything imaginable- Christmas candles, wreaths, ornaments, mantle decorations, great Christmas gift ideas and crafts and baked goods that are going to blow your mind and your taste buds.
