A tween girls' clothing and apparel store will be closing its Towne Square Mall location due to bankruptcy.

This week, according to USA Today, the Ascena Retail Group, announced that it will shutter more than 600 Justice locations. The closures include the Owensboro store.

In fact, it's Ascena that has filed for bankruptcy, not just Justice.

Ascena, by the way, is the parent for other retailers like Lane Bryant, Catherine's and Ann Taylor among others.

Justice is a clothing and apparel store marketed to girls aged 6 to 12 years old and has more than 800 locations in the U.S.

Justice stores in Evansville, Bowling Green, Louisville, and Lexington will also be closing their doors.
