Kentucky Chrome Heading Back to Fastpitch World Series
The Kentucky Chrome fast-pitch softball team placed third at the 2018 USSSA Fall World Series in Birmingham. This year, they plan to be champions!
The Kentucky Chrome 14U fast-pitch softball team is headed to the 2019 USSSA Fall World Series in Birmingham, Alabama. Their first game in the tournament will be on Saturday morning.
I love softball, so this news gives me all of the feels. I played first base in school and it truly was one of my favorite sports. Shout out to Coach Sawin. But, back in my day, when I played, we didn't have an opportunity to play outside of school. It's so great for team building, fitness, and personal growth for these young ladies.
We know that you'll have fun and represent Owensboro great, win or lose. Now, go and bring home that gold! You've got this.
Coached by, Jacob English, B.J. Howard and Marcus Calhoun, this year's team has players from Apollo, Daviess County, and Catholic. One young lady is from Indiana.
Jason Koger is the "Moral Support Officer", as the coaches call him.
