Like so many of, if not the REST of the country's amusement parks, Kentucky Kingdom delayed its traditional opening day due to the coronavirus pandemic.

But now the park has announced it will open sometime in early June.

WHAS-Louisville quoted Kentucky Kingdom's vice president of operations as saying that with safety ALWAYS a top priority at the amusement park, guidelines issued by government health officials will be followed.

When the park does open--and no date has been selected--the hours will be extended. Kentucky Kingdom will open at 10AM and close at 9PM.

Additionally, the park plans to add up to 1,400 employees to its workforce. Recruitment, training, and interviews will all be conducted online.
