Kentucky Singers Enter Hall of Fame Tonight

It's a big night for Kentucky natives whose efforts will be recognized by their induction into the Kentucky Music Hall of Fame and Museum at Renfro Valley.

John Michael Montgomery of Danville. His career began in 1992 and continues today with a long string of hit tunes.

Patty Loveless, nee Ramey, of Pikeville, who grew up listening to Country and Bluegrass. Molly O'Day, also being inducted, was one of Patty's idols.

The great, late Keith Whitley whose untimely death robbed Country Music fans of unheard, unknown sounds unmatched by anyone else. From Sandy Hook, Keith also had Bluegrass influences on his Country sound.

The only non-Kentucky born artist out of this bunch, Steve Wariner from Nobelsville, Indiana, will go in as a consumate musician as well as singing performer.

The Goins Brothers and gospel singer Larnelle Harris will also enter. Congratulations to one and all.
