I'm proud to be an American, where at least I know I'm free- Lee Greenwood, "God Bless the U.S.A."

It was 1984 when Lee Greenwood released his signature song "God Bless the U.S.A." Actually, it's probably more appropriate now to call that song an anthem, because that's exactly what it's come over the last 40 or so years. Much like "The Star-Spangled Banner", it's a song that instantly brings people to their feet when it starts to play.

There's no doubt that Lee Greenwood "loves this land" and he wears the label of American Patriot loud and proud.

Well now, he's serving up something even more loud and proud this 4th of July holiday season. Lee's patriotic anthem is now the inspiration behind a brand new firework from Black Cat, the most legendary fireworks company in the world.

2022 marks the 70th anniversary of Black Cat and they're celebrating with something explosive, awe-inspiring and fun. Under a partnership with Lee Greenwood, they've created the Proud to be an American firework.

This new fireworks finale features 42-reports and its bombs will burst in the air in the colors of the American flag- red, white and blue.  The firework is now available at select locations around the country and will be continue to be available through Independence Day.

And the firework is actually three cakes in one and each separate cake bears a title inspired by lyrics from the song. There's God Bless The USA (14 shots/red), I Love This Land (14 shots/white) and From Sea To Shining Sea (14 shots/blue).

Lee is excited about the literal and figurative launch of the new firework. He says, “The 4th of July is one of my favorite holidays to honor our veterans and celebrate freedom. Partnering with Black Cat® was a natural fit - and they put together a beautiful assembly of red, white, and blue to honor our great country."

Here's what Proud to be an American looks like!
