Popular TV ‘Trickster’ is Coming to the RiverPark Center in Owensboro

Get ready! Popular magician, comedian, television and movie star Michael Carbonaro is coming to the RiverPark Center in downtown Owensboro and, if you buy tickets to the show, he just might make you disappear! He's promised to pluck two people of the audience and make them vanish.

Carbonaro, the host of the popular TruTV series The Carbonaro Effect, has embarked on a cross-country tour and he's bringing his show- Michael Carbonaro: Lies on Stage- to Owensboro on Sunday, September 29th. The 'fun for all ages' show will start at 7pm.

In advance of his tour stop here in Owensboro, my radio cohost (Mary-Katherine Maddox) and I had the chance to chat with Michael. First, we dove deep into the Carbonaro archives and talked about his 'soap opera era.' Yes! Early in his career, Michael was an actor in Los Angeles and landed guest appearances on two popular soap operas, All My Children and Guiding Light.

He also recently sat down for a fun (and mind-blowing) interview with Kelly Clarkson on her daytime talk show. The magic was insane!

I am a huge Kelly Clarkson fan, so naturally we had to ask him about that and what he can expect when he comes to visit Owensboro, Kentucky for the first time.
