Hannah Brown, a local high-school student, reached out to share the news. This amazing young lady witnessed the show of support at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital on Sunday night. She felt in her heart that Ohio County needed to do the same for their hospital. We agree Hannah.

Just like the vigil on Sunday night, precautions are in place and MUST be adhered to. Security will be on hand to help with parking and to ensure safety. We just need to do our part.

Ohio County Healthcare posted the requirements on their Facebook page.

"Community members are can park in the hospital's front and right side parking lot by the Rehab Dept. starting around 6:30 pm. Staff members will be changing shifts around 7:00 pm. We welcome you to flash your lights, honk your horns, or display signs from inside your vehicle. Social distancing measures must be observed."

"ALL PARTICIPANTS MUST STAY IN THEIR VEHICLES WITH THE WINDOWS UP. We ask that you do not park in the ER parking lot as not to block access for patients."
