Old GE Building on Old Hartford Road Has Been Sold

I drive by the old GE building on Old Hartford quite a bit and I always wonder what will become of it or the property when its sold.

We're closer to learning that answer because the old building HAS been sold.

A company in Illinois had owned the property but sold it to Owensboro Warehouse Leasing LLC, according to a report from 14News-WFIE's Shaelie Clark.

The Owensboro company also purchased 95 acres of adjacent land.

What's more, there's a already a big project planned for the property.

We're talking restaurants, an office building, housing (upscale apartments and single family residences), warehousing, small businesses, and a medical office.

A small grocery store is also interested.

Hey, it's a BIG property. It's got the room.
