In March Perry County Indiana Sheriff’s Department investigated a Tell City farm for charges concerning animal cruelty and neglect.  They found over a 100 dogs and other animals, mostly underfed and unfortunately one dog dead of malnutrition.

The Indiana Animal Protection Coalition was brought in and they rescued the animals and distributed them to various agencies for safekeeping. One of the agencies that took a good number of the animals was the Owensboro Humane Society. The group’s Ali Ihlenfeld  vists the WBKR Waking Crew Show frequently. She has provided us with some photos of the dogs she has assisted in bringing back to health. They are available for adoption at the Owensboro Humane Society. Ali says, " We are open 7 days a week from 11:00am-4:00pm daily. We are located at 3101 West Second Street.  We are in front of the Thompson-Berry Soccer Fields, and next to the Botanical Gardens"

Here are the dogs in alphabetical order.
