Owensboro Police Officers Reward Money to Folks Wearing Seatbelts
Officers from the Owensboro City Police Department surprised a few motorists today who passed through the McDonald's location on West Parrish Avenue close to Moonlite. They handed a select few some cash!! Here's why.
According to OPD Public Information Officer Andrew Boggess, there "were quite a few people that weren't sure they wanted to stop and talk to us!" Can you imagine trying to super-size a Big Mac combo and being approached, unexpectedly, by a police officer? LOL!!
However, we're pretty sure the ones who were awarded money as part of the "Buckle Up for a Buck" campaign likely changed their minds pretty quickly!
Like McDonald's, we're lovin' it! #seatbeltssavelives #buckleup
