Katie, who currently holds the title of Miss Jefferson County, moved into the Miss Kentucky house Sunday. Interviews are set for Wednesday. Prelims are Thursday and Friday and the final is Saturday.  This is the third time that Katie has competed in the Miss Kentucky Pageant.

In 2016, she competed and won "Miss Kentucky's Newcomer of the Year" and placed 2nd runner up for the Heather French Henry Quality of Life Award.  That award recognizes and celebrates service platforms.  This year, Katie's platform is "Being the Voice for Kentucky's Children" and coincides with her career plans.  Katie aspires to work with at-risk students as a Family Resource Coordinator.  She's currently working toward a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work from Western Kentucky University.

Katie is 22-years-old and is the daughter of Michael and Amy Bouchard.  She's a graduate of Daviess County High School.  Who knows?  By the end of the weekend, she may very well be your new Miss Kentucky!

We want to wish Katie the best of luck as she competes.
