Remain Calm…Owensboro’s Old Hickory Is NOT Closing

I guess now we know what the phrase "old hickory" means to anyone from Owensboro and Daviess County.

The iconic restaurant and ONLY the iconic restaurant.

Sure, President Andrew Jackson's nickname was "Old Hickory," but so what, right?

And if there's another Old Hickory somewhere and it announces that it's CLOSING, folks around here might just freak out.
