Sharing a little something today that local coffee lovers can sip on.  The remodeling project at The Spot Coffee and Finery here in Owensboro is nearly complete and the location will soon be reopening its doors to patrons.

Here's a look inside!

Inside the Renovations at The Spot

The Spot closed early last year near the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic. Doors actually closed last May and that closure prompted owner Jacob Pendley to reconsider his business model.  He launched The Coffee Bus, which has become an increasingly popular mobile fixture as places like UniFirst, Brescia, etc.  The Coffee Bus has been so wildly successful, it's not going anywhere and will continue popping up at different locations around town.

However, The Spot, as you know it, is making a comeback.  According to Jacob, Williamsburg Square approached him and asked him to come back and reopen. Not only was he offered his original space, but was invited to complete a remodel that includes the space next door as well.  As you can see from the photos above, that remodel is nearly complete and, this Saturday, Jacob plans announce the grand reopening date.

The Spot is located at 217 Williamsburg Square in Owensboro.
