At this writing, Daviess County and the rest of the tri-state are under a flash flood warning. For me, that always means it's time to check the water levels.

Western Daviess County, with the exception of the Windy Hollow area, is as flat as a pancake and very susceptible to relatively tiny Panther Creek.

It always amazes me what this creek does when the rains are heavy.

I also checked out the Ohio River, always a culprit and no less so today:
