Emergency Sandbagging Effort Begins in Daviess County – Info for Volunteers and Residents
FLOODING HITS WESTERN KY
Last Friday, we were warned by the National Weather Service that life-threatening, impactful flooding was going to hit the tri-state. And Mother Nature delivered. We saw thunder and lightning, ice, snow, and flooding all in one night.
First Responders in Daviess County, KY, sprung into action rescuing people by the floods by boat.
And now that the snow is melting, there's even more flooding in the Western KY area. To make matters even worse, we have another storm system coming in that is going to dump 4-9" of snow on the tri-state.
