Second Annual Poker Run in Honor of Dakota Rager Set for Saturday
The memory of Dakota Rager, or "Lil" Rager, will continue to live on in a variety of ways including the 2nd Annual Memorial Poker Run to benefit Muhlenberg County Family Resources.
The poker run will ultimately be a boon to the five Muhlenberg County elementary schools as well as families who will be in need during the coming holiday season. It will begin this Saturday, July 29th, with sign-in from 9AM-11AM.
Poker run participants--who may use ANY street legal vehicle (no ATVs or non-street legal golf carts)--will leave from Gray's Front Porch Grill at 11:15.
The full trip throughout Muhlenberg County is expected to run about 75 to 100 miles, give or take a few.
The entry fee is $10 per bike with an additional $5 if there is an extra rider.
Entry fees for all non-two-wheeled vehicles will be $15 with an additional $5 per extra passenger.
There will be a cornhole tournament, the entry fee for which will be $10 per team.
You'll be able to participate in bike event games--including the wienie bite and balloon toss--a 50/50 drawing, a silent auction (for which there are SEVERAL items up for bids), and so much more.
The run should conclude at around 4PM.
There will also be a police escort.
You're all invited to come support the children of Muhlenberg County and have a great doing so!
