Shots Fired in West Fourth Street Area of Owensboro; Standoff Ends Peacefully

We're just getting word from the Owensboro Messenger-Inquirer that shots have been fired and Owensboro police are searching in the area of the 1100 block of West Fourth Street.

The information is coming in piece-meal, but what we do know is that, according to dispatches, the shots were fired during a warrant call.

It appears that the subject being shot in connection with these gun shots is in the West Fourth Street area and fired those shots AT the police.

Again, this according to Owensboro dispatch.

Eyewitness News WEHT/WTVW Local reports that the suspect has run into a house in the 1100 block of West Third.
